Orpheus choir

The Oxford Orpheus will be performing Haydn’s Creation at the Oxford Town Hall on Saturday 18th February

We are delighted to announce that once again we will be the nominated Charity partner for the prestigious Oxford Orpheus Choral Charity Concert in 2017.

Choral singers come from far and wide to come together, rehearse and perform all under the baton of acclaimed conductor Robert Dean all in one day.

This year the choir, Orchestra and guest soloists will be performing Haydn’s Creation at Oxford Town Hall on Saturday 18th February.

The Oxford Orpheus is unique in that you can be member of the massed Choir taking a crucial role in the amazing musical adventure that is the Oxford Orpheus and by doing so raise funds for some of the 4000 people who suffer a brain injury in Oxfordshire each year

“To be able to perform core choral repertoire in the space of a day has to be unique. Add to that solo singing & musical direction of a level equal to anything I’ve experienced, the value offered is incredible.
A great day out, wonderful music making and all in a good cause. Could there be anything better? When’s the next one ?”

“I felt like an angel when I stepped off that platform, almost that I was going to burst with the sheer joy of singing….”
