The event kicks off at the rally point in Central Oxford. We’ll load the executive transport vehicles and make our way Scotland’s Ben Nevis. Teams will climb Ben Nevis, descend, load the transports and head directly to the Lake District and Scafell Pike.
Trifecta 3-Peaks Challenge
The Trifecta 3-Peaks Challenge is a team charity challenge for businesses in Oxfordshire. It’s a 24-hour challenge involving three teams successfully climbing the three largest peaks in the UK, raising money for three charities. Three Peaks, Three Teams, Three Charities – The Trifecta
Trifecta trʌɪˈfɛktə/; noun; “a run of three wins or grand events”
Businesses will be challenged to lose a few pounds for a worthy personal challenge and raise a few pounds for three worthy Oxfordshire charities. It’s an opportunity to demonstrate leadership on charitable giving and to contribute to the broader needs of Oxfordshire.
Once at Scafell Pike, we’ll make the ascent and descent by that evening. All teams will return to the transports for dinner and a 6-hour ride to Snowdonia.
Awaking on the transports at the base of Snowdon, we’ll start our hike just before dawn. We’ll make that climb and descent as quickly as we can, and in the time required to have climbed all three peaks in under 24 hours. With hitting that goal, we’ll all take the prized crown of achievement The Trifecta 3-Peaks Challenge!
